Hawaii was everything I imagined it would be. Stunning beaches, warm and welcoming people, incredible food, and a culture unlike anywhere else. We visited Maui, one of Hawaii’s most popular islands, and it’s easy to see why. Some of our sightseeing stops included Baldwin Beach, Waiʻānapanapa State Park, and Keōpuka Rock. What I loved most about these spots was that you didn’t have to take long hikes to be rewarded with breathtaking views. We even saw massive sea turtles, something I had never experienced before.
We spent our last three days winding down at the beautiful Wailea Beach Resort. If you know me, you know I usually try to squeeze in as much hiking as possible when I travel, but actually slowing down and allowing myself to relax for a few days was, well… incredibly relaxing. We wrapped up our final night in Maui with a drive up to Haleakalā Summit. The drive alone was unforgettable, and once we reached the top, I couldn’t believe how cold it was—such a wild contrast to the warm island air below. Until next time, Hawaii!
