Palo Duro Canyon has been on my bucket list for some time, till now. I spent the weekend camping and exploring this amazing canyon. Being the second largest canyon in the US, there was a lot to do. The Lighthouse Trail is the most popular hike here, so getting up early to begin the hike and beat the crowds was key. The hike is considered moderate at 5.8 miles roundtrip. So worth it in my opinion tho. The views are incredible. I was surprised by some of the fall foliage I saw around the canyon. Definitely was not expecting that. All in all, this is the perfect spot for a weekend away!
